Why do I have to wait for it to buffer before playing?
The streaming audio sometimes needs a little time to get going, depending on network congestion. Give it a moment, and it will start.

How do I install the QuickPlayer?
On your blackberry, browse to www.getquickplayer.com, and choose download.

How do I uninstall the QuickPlayer from my BlackBerry 8700 and 7130 series?
On your blackberry, go to the following icons:

Step 1
Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications
Select "QuickPlayer" and choose delete.

If your device requires a reboot at this point, choose yes.

Step 2
Options -> Advanced Options ->
Applications -> BlackBerry Core Applications -> Modules
Select "QuickPlayer" and choose delete.

How do I uninstall the QuickPlayer from my BlackBerry 8100 "Pearl" and 8800 series?

1) Go to: Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications
2) On the Applications screen, scroll to "QuickPlayer" and press the menu button. Choose "Delete" from the menu.
3) When prompted to reboot, choose Yes.

If you're still having trouble, first perform the above, then:

4) Go to: Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications.
5) Anywhere on the Applications screen, press the menu button. Choose "Modules" from the menu.
6) Scroll to the very bottom and make sure "QuickPlayer" does not appear in this list.
7) If it does, highlight it, press the menu button and choose "Delete".

How do I send this application to my friend?
Browse to the About page, and use the field there to enter your friend's email address. Your BlackBerry email composer will open, and you can send your friend the link to the application.

How do I launch the QuickPlayer after downloading it?
The QuickPlayer icon will appear on your home screen. Scroll over this icon ( ) and click it to launch the application.

How do I browse from the Channel Guide to listen to audio content?
With the application launched, open the menu and select 'My Channels'. Then click on one of your channels to listen to it.

Can I write or receive emails while listening to the QuickPlayer?
Yes, simply press the red phone key (used to hang up from a phone call) while listening to an audiocast. This will return you to your home screen, where you can access email or other BlackBerry services while listening to the QuickPlayer. Select the QuickPlayer icon from your home screen to return to the QuickPlayer.

Why do I hear static when I listen to an audiocast?
You will notice that you hear static over your BlackBerry speaker when your device is connecting to your network (indicated by arrows in the upper right hand corner of your screen). The static is reduced by a strong network connection, or by listening to the QuickPlayer through earbuds.

Why do I get the ıdevice not supportedı message when I have a device that the website says is supported?
The browser you use to visit getQuickPlayer.com can sometimes affect our ability to recognize your BlackBerry model. If you encounter this problem, visit getQuickPlayer.com using the Internet Browser on your device. If you still encounter the device not supported problem, please contact customer support.

How do I refresh the content in the QuickPlayer?
In order to refresh the content, you must exit the QuickPlayer by hitting the back button, then relaunching the QuickPlayer. Exiting the QuickPlayer by hitting the red hangup button will not correctly exit the application and content will not be refreshed the next time you visit.

When do I get billed?
You will be billed every 30 days.

What do I get billed for?
Your monthly payment gives you access to all the channels available.

How do I cancel my service?
In the application, click on the "My Account" menu option, and follow the instructions on that page to cancel your subscription.

If I cancel the service, do I get refunded any of my payment?
No. When you cancel your service, you will continue to have access to it for the rest of your payment period, after which it will become unavailable.

Can I get charged on my mobile phone bill instead?
Yes! Mobile phone bill payment is currently an option for Sprint, Cingular and T-Mobile subscribers, and many other carriers worldwide. If available, it will be displayed to you as an option when you first subscribe. Please note that at this time, mobile phone bill payment is not supported for this service in Canada; Canadians can still use their credit card.

What do I do if I've been billed but my service isn't activated?

I am resubscribing but my credit card isnıt being accepted. Why not?
You may either resubscribe with a different credit card, or allow 24 hours from the time you cancelled your subscription to use the same credit card.

What is a channel?
A channel is an individual, regularly updated audio feed.

How do I subscribe to a channel?
Go to the channel guide page. Click on the channel you want to add to your list of channels. You will be presented with a popup that gives you a few details about that channel. Click CONTINUE, and you will have added that channel to your lineup! You can now visit your My Channels page and listen to the audio from there.

How do I remove a channel from my channels list?
Simply click on the channel, either on the channel guide page or on your my channels page, and choose to remove it. It will disappear from your channel lineup.

How many channels can I add?
As part of your monthly service, you can add as many channels as you want.
